Merry Christmas Everyone! It's been a wonderful season for us. Dominic is growing and is now 6 months! He is sitting up on his own, playing, laughing and having the time of his life everyday. We're excited for his first Christmas and our first Christmas together, just the three of us. Currently, our landscaping is being worked on at our house so our yards look a like a war zone but it is going to look gorgeous when completed. We've been having an awesome December so far at Grace North where we have now transitioned to 2 services and have lots of wonderful holiday activities going on. We are growing in every area, church, real estate, family, friends...it is wonderful! We hope you are all doing well and look forward to your posts!
Much Love,
Scott, Lydia & Dominic

We're Back!

Hey Everyone! Sorry it's been a while. We are doing well and honestly, I can hardly believe it's November 1st. WOW! Dominic has changed (as you can see by the pictures) and is now our Little D trying to do Big Boy things! He is now eating solids, stuffing everything in sight in his mouth, teething and trying really hard to sit up! It's awesome. He is our entertainment! The pictures say it all don't they! We just returned from a trip to Los Angeles and Washington State. Scott was ordained at our SW District Pastor's Conference and that was a very special moment. He was so blessed and I am VERY proud of him! We went to Disneyland has a family and that was a great experience. Dominic really enjoyed himself...he ate ice cream for the first time and loved it! I took Dominic up to Washington last week to visit our wonderful friends in Seattle and Yakima and introduce him to that part of our world! It was a great time! Enjoy these pictures! Love to hear any comments and updates from you all!
Love from the three of us!

We're Still Here!

Hi Everyone! We sincerely apologize for the lack of pictures over the past month. Unfortunetely our brand new camera got run over by a car (yeah, I know...big bummer) while we were away at family camp so therefore we haven't been able to post any new pics! We do have a brand new camera now and are excited to learn how to use it and will be posting new pictures hopefully very soon!

Monday we leave for a special pastor's conference in California where Scott will be getting ordained! I am so proud of him and he is very excited for this momentous occasion in his life and ministry. Scott is an amazing pastor and leader and it truly is an honor to accomplish ordination at such a young age (26). Scott has many people who love him, believe in him and who have spoken words of encouragement over his life from the time he was a little boy. Thanks for your prayers for him as he steps into another wonderful season of ministry!

Dominic is now 4 1/2 months and the life of the party! He is laughing, rolling, talking, squealing, and thankfully sleeping very well! New pictures to come shortly....I promise!

We hope you've gotten the drift that we'd love to hear back from you! Send your comments our way!

Oh before I sign off I want to give a big congratulations to our friends who have been having babies lately! Congratulations Caleb & Shannon on Olivia, Gelinda & Casey on Elisabeth, Mark & Kristie on Allie and last but not least...Jordan & Britney on Porter! Lots of love!!!

Dedication Day

Dominic Joseph was dedicated on Sun, Aug 27th together with his cousin James Abner. It was a very special day celebrating the lives of two incredible new Ingegneri's! Thanks to everyone who made it up to celebrate with us and for those of you in our family who could not come due to distance, you were of course with us in our hearts!
"For I know the plans I have for you", declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future."
"Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with your whole heart."
Jeremiah 29:11-13

2 Months

Here is another update on us and some more pictures for you all to enjoy! Dominic is 10 weeks old and is changing right before our eyes. (these pics were taken a few weeks ago). He is really happy most of the time and is giving us some HUGE smiles! He is also "talking" to us when we sing and talk to him. He also is now rolling over from his back to his side....too cute! It is so much fun! Growing together as a family sure is an amazing thing!

Since my last entry God has done yet another huge miracle and we have sold our home!! God has answered our every prayer and his timing is perfect. WOW! Right down to the wire. I am reminded of the scripture that says that all things work together for good for those who put their trust in the Lord. Once again, the Lord has done exceedingly above what we could ask or think!

We just returned from an amazing week at Family Camp with our Grace North Church family. What an incredible time together! Can't wait until next year! Well we will be moving into our new house this week so we'll try and post something again real soon. We'd love to hear from you so keep in touch!

"Somona" Here We Come!

We are constantly amazed at the hand of God upon our lives. There are times our faith is tested beyond what we think we can stand, but over the past month we have walked through the test of perserverance! Many of you know that we have been in the process of buying another home here in Anthem. Unfortunately it is not a seller's market right now and we have had a rough time selling our house even though it is very competitively priced. This new home in the country club is gorgeous. It is safe to say that this new house is our dream home and above our wildest dreams that we could ever live in a home like this at this point in our lives. We kind of "stumbled" upon it and had honestly not planned to move, especially since we just reached the one-year mark of moving into our current home last summer. However, we have had an undeniable peace about going forward with the new house. With our closing date encroaching upon us and yet another day gone by without any "lookers" we seriously doubted if this was even going to go through. However, we pressed through in prayer and asked the Lord to clearly show us if this not His will. It seemed like obstacle after obstacle stood in our way. But God has truly removed everything that seemed like a mountain and it's like we have plowed straight through any barriers! To make a long story short, we have been approved for our new home and Pulte and our lenders have done everything they can to make this dream possible for us. We are blessed beyond measure and are looking forward to moving into our new home on Aug 22nd. I want to encourage anyone reading this blog to not be afraid to ask God for the BIG THINGS! Sometimes we are afraid to ask God for the big stuff for whatever reason. Maybe it's fear or we just don't think that we CAN ask! Or maybe we don't believe it will ever "happen" for us. However, I am convinced otherwise. Since Scott and I got married God has done miracle after miracle for us in regards to finances and our homes. Even in times of lack or need, I have never felt that I lacked or needed anything. God is a miracle working God and I am blessed to share yet another miracle with you!

Dominic's First Few Weeks!

Dominic is 12 days old today! This past week and a half has been the most amazing time of our lives. Parenthood is incredible. We have experienced probably every emotion one can experience as a new parent! (All of you parents are probably smiling as you remember what it was like with your first born!) There will be moments we'll just be looking at him and start to cry. He is beautiful and captures our hearts more and more every day. Dominic is an awesome little guy! He is quickly falling into a routine and obviously right now his favorite things are eating and sleeping...and of course...pooping! Dominic is also sleeping great at night, much to his parents relief, so we feel like humans again! We have taken more pictures than you could possibly imagine but of course we cannot post them all, but here are a few for you to enjoy from this past week in our lives. Much Love from Scott, Lydia & Dominic

Dominic Joseph Ingegneri!

Happy and content

Getting weighed and bathed

Beautiful, beautiful boy!

Our precious son, Dominic Joseph is born!! Dominic was born on Thursday, June 8th at 8pm weighing in at 8 lbs. 6 oz. and 19 1/2 inches long. It was an amazing birth and after 22 hours of labor Lydia was relieved and so happy to finally be done! Despite the length of the labor it was an absolutely amazing experience. Lydia was able to deliver without any medication which was a big desire. Dominic is so content, happy and gorgeous! We are truly in love and he has won our hearts completely! Please enjoy these pictures of our son and check back regularly as we are absolutely picture crazy and will be updating often! We would love to hear from you...please post your comments! Thank you all for your love, support and prayers for us! We are so blessed!

Lydia's 25th Birthday!

On Friday May 26th we celebrated Lydia's 25th birthday! We had a great day with our family & friends! My husband is the greatest. He planned this special day for us! For you locals, we enjoyed TC Eggington's for breakfast. (For you non-locals, we promise to take you there if you ever come and visit us. They have the best breakfasts on the planet!) Of course, it wouldn't be an Ingegneri birthday without a movie nor would it be an Ingegneri birthday without some sort of ethnic food...Thai food!! YEAH! Dominic has yet to come out and enjoy the party himself!

FYI: We recently had a very good appt with our midwife. Lydia is 70% effaced and 1cm dilated. Dominic has also dropped down causing his mom to really waddle! We are excited and hope to bring the news any day that he is born!

Norway Family Update!

I know many of you ask about our family in Norway! They are doing well. Lena and the kids just purchased a new home so they are excited for the extra space. They'd been living in a rather small apartment the past 2 yrs. Some other wonderfully exciting news is that Lena has full legal custody of the kids! They still have visitation rights with their dad, but there is no worry any longer as to whom they will live with on a permanent basis. Lena is now the store manager of a Danish women's clothing store which sells fun, bright and funky clothes. The kids are all involved in everything from baseball, swimming to playing guitar and piano!

Lise, Sten Raymond and Isabell are doing great, too. They are in the process of building their own home in the near vacinity of Sten's family. Lise is asst. manager at a cafe in town while Sten is still working for the railroad and is away every other week. Isabell will be 3 in July and is the cutest little thing ever. She goes to pre-school/daycare during the day and really loves it there. Lise and Sten enjoy living on the West Coast and are excited for the completion of their new home!

Scott Update!

Hey All! I am so proud of my husband! Just wanted to let you all know that he is now enrolled in the King's College & Seminary to receive his Master's of Divinity. King's College was founded by Pastor Jack Hayford who is now the president of Foursquare. Scott is excited to receive a degree from a school that is aligned with his beliefs and grounded in Foursquare. Thanks for keeping him in your prayers as he studies and works towards this wonderful goal. In April Scott completed his first week at Pastor Jack's school of pastoral nurture (together with Joe). They had a great time and will be returning for another intensive week in October. I am a very proud wife! Way to go BABY!!

Recent Pictures

Here are some recent pictures! The first picture is of me and my girlfriends Leecel & Beverly. They are also due in the month of June (I am due 6/5, Leecel 6/17, Bev 6/26). Scott has had fun putting the car seat and stroller together and I am thankful to have all the little things done and taken care of!

38 Weeks and counting!

We are only days away from Dominic Joseph's arrival! To say the least we are VERY excited! I am continuing to feel great. Scott is the best husband and daddy. He prays over me and Dominic every morning. Contractions are becoming more and more regular but obviously have not indicated labor yet. We will keep you all posted and updated on the progress and of course annouce the big news hopefully any day!
Much Love From the Excited Parents To Be!
